First and far most, I am a husband. Married over 20 years and have loved every minute of it - the good, the bad, the highs and lows. I'm 100% convinced if it wasn't for the woman I met who walked out of that airplane terminal back in 1998, I wouldn't be where I am today.
Second, I'm also a father of two beautiful daughters. My older daughter is away to school and the other is soon to follow (next year!) and then -- me and my wife will be empty nesters!
It'll be bittersweet I must confess, but all in all, I'm looking forward to the next phase of my life, which leads me to discuss my passions:

I wish I could tell you over the course of the past 16 years when I was first inspired to make movies that I decided to focus on that and nothing else. Nope, that wasn't my reality. I decided in 2012 that I could somehow write novels and adapt them to film, thus I spent all of 2012 developing a 7 book epic fantasy novel series that I was preparing to start writing on book one on January 1, 2013.
...Enter E'Lure Salon and Spa!
When my wife (who is a hairstylist) relocated to another salon and the owner expressed interest in selling her turnkey establishment, it was an opportunity we could not refuse. Thus, in the Summer of 2013 (so much for writing my fantasy novel series and filmmaking!).
Life was unpredictable after that time, which kept busy... I went back to school the following year and got my degree in the Fall of 2015. I became a member of a fraternity, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. (2016) and soon after I found myself struggling to put everything together.
Over the course of the past three years, I did various online business ventures and although I could have succeeded within them...they didn't have my heart. I wanted to write novels and produce film! Fortunately for me, I miracle happened. In the summer of 2019, my daughter wanted to go skating before she left for school and I begrudgingly complied. I stepped off the platform onto the skating rink on my skate and broke my tibia and fibula in half!!!
Oh, how I desired to fall in a state of depression the following month and a half. Instead, I picked up my pen and paper and decided to complete a romance story idea I had in my mind since 2015 -- the story was called "The Secret Whispers of Reeds."
I finally released the book on February 29, 2020, and my life has changed forever. I can't wait to see what happens next!
